Care & info

All Studio Hokū's products are 100% handmade, in small batches. Because of this every product is unique, and none are the same. As small works of art, you are buying an item that no one else in the world owns.

The clay goes through quite the journey before the final product ends up in your hands, it's baked several times in the kiln and painted by hand. Because of this, imperfections may occur. Personally, I celebrate these small imperfections - after all, this emphasizes that there is a real person hiding behind this amazing craft called ceramics.

All pieces are made of sustainable stoneware and are completely food-safe. However, they're still not big fans of the dishwasher. If you want to enjoy your new items for as long as possible, I recommend giving them a little extra TLC by handwashing them only.

Studio Hokū is committed to sustainability. That also means no unnecessary plastic packaging or wrapping. That's why I have ditched the plastic and opted for packaging made of corn and potato starch, which dissolves in water. It's my little way of helping the planet while delivering happiness to your doorstep.
